Guerilla Gardening

With the spring coming and no backyard to use for gardening, I started thinking about ways to garden in the city. Last week me and Caroline did some seed sowing in the comfort of my apartment. Still, I feel like it isn’t enough to satisfy my gardening love.

I have known about Guerilla Gardening for a while now and have always wanted to join in. I have not found anyone in Montreal doing it yet - plus, believe it or not, it is totally illegal. Since I do not have much growing that I can share anyway, I decided to make some seed bombs sometimes this or next weekend. Seed bombs are basically a mix of clay, compost and seeds made into a small ball then dried. They can be placed/thrown anywhere and should germinate once it rains. If you’d like to join in the fun email me!! esther.mathieu at gmail.com

I have been jealous of my friend Lung’s talent ever since I started following his blog years ago. I wanted to share it with you.
